Treating Floodwater
Not treating water as something that needs to be contained
Allow water to flow naturally throughout the city
Create infrastructure that does not try to separate itself from floodwater
These infrastructures will act as nests similar to how ships relate with the ocean
These nests will house different types of urban ecologies already present in cities
They will cultivate these ecologies in the presence of rising floodwater
The relationship of the nests with the topography of the land will change over time depending on the level of floodwater, with some vessels becoming submerged
