.red hook redevelopment.

Water is a vital and precious component in all forms of life. It is only fitting for water to be the main driving force in the re-imagining and redesign of southern Brooklyn after the onslaught of Hurricane Adele. It will be used to give rise to new types of landscape typologies in the development. By controlling the amount or levels of water (ranging from 0-100%), each specific area has, these will create a mixture of varied flora and fauna unique to each typology.

The hope is to create a new landscape unprecedented in cities, giving New Yorkers a new way to experience the city like never before.

The amount of water used in the spaces determines the different types of activities that can be done.
